  1. Who we are

  1. Acceptance of these Terms
    By accessing the Site, creating an account, or purchasing/enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

  2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian to purchase.
  • For consent-based features (e.g., marketing emails), if you are under 15 (France “digital consent” age), parental consent is required.
  1. Accounts and security
  • Keep your password confidential and your account details accurate.
  • Do not share your login or allow others to access courses with your account.
  • We may suspend/disable accounts used in breach of these Terms.
  1. Courses and access
  • When you enroll, we grant you a personal, non‑transferable license to view the content for your own learning.
  • “Lifetime access” means for as long as the course remains published on our platform and the service operates.
  • We may update, add, or remove lessons to improve quality. If a course is discontinued, we try to give reasonable notice.
  1. Intellectual property
  • All content (videos, PDFs, text, audio, images, designs, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law.
  • You may not copy, record, download, share, resell, or redistribute course content, nor use it to create competing products/services.
  • PDFs/resources may be downloaded/printed for your personal practice only.
  1. Payments and pricing
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and/or PayPal. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Prices may change; promotions are time‑limited. Taxes/VAT may apply and will be shown at checkout where required.
  • Orders are final once confirmed, subject to the EU right of withdrawal explained below.
  1. EU right of withdrawal (digital content)
  • EU/France consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from distance purchases.
  • For digital content not supplied on a physical medium (our courses), you lose this withdrawal right once digital delivery starts if you gave your express consent and acknowledgment.
  • At checkout we ask you to confirm: “I expressly consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that I will lose my EU right of withdrawal once access begins.”
  • If you do not consent, do not start the course. You may request a withdrawal within 14 days after purchase provided you have not accessed/started the course.
  • To request withdrawal within 14 days (before starting): email support@soundcraftmethod.com with your order ID. Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method.
  1. Refunds (outside the withdrawal rule)
  • Outside the EU withdrawal scenario above, we generally do not offer refunds once access has begun, except where required by law.
  • If a technical issue on our side prevents access, contact us and we will resolve it or, if we cannot, we may offer a refund.
  1. No subscriptions
  • We currently offer one‑time purchases only (no subscriptions or tiers).
  1. User content and conduct
  • If you post comments/reviews/assignments, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to display and reproduce that content in connection with the Site.
  • Do not post illegal, infringing, abusive, or spam content. We may remove content and/or suspend accounts for violations.
  1. Third‑party services and links
  • The Site uses third parties for hosting/CDN/security (e.g., Cloudflare), payments (Stripe/PayPal), video (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo), social login (if enabled), and anti‑spam (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile). Each has its own terms and privacy policy.
  1. Disclaimers
  • Educational content is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes; progress depends on your practice and circumstances.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement).
  1. Limitation of liability
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
  • Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Site/courses will not exceed the amount you paid in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

  1. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third‑party rights.

  2. Termination
    We may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, or abuse. You may delete your account at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, payments, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

  3. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by French law.
  • Consumers may bring disputes in the courts of their place of residence or the competent French courts (mandatory consumer rights apply).

  1. Changes to these Terms
    We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
